Guinness

I take care of a lot of labrador retrievers which is a good thing because I think they are a great dog. Guinness was no exception. I don't know if dogs have ADD, but if there is such a thing, there's no doubt Guinness has it! She simply cannot sit still. No matter how far we walked, or how much we ran, it was as though we hadn't exercised at all. It took me a couple of tries to get a photo of her which wasn't blurred. The secret...one of her favorite treats!

Crashing sucks

I'll bet it does! I found this on one of the many piper aircraft that showed up for the sentimental journey fly-in in Lock Haven PA last weekend. Interesting show whether you are an airplane buff or not.

The umbrella

In spite of the fact the rain had stopped, I didn't trust the clouds to break open again. So I brought my red umbrella to the falls with me. While I was busy photographing one of the falls, I turned around to find Bill setting up the umbrella to use in one of his shots. We continued "posing" the umbrella all over the area and came up with some creative images.

Loganton Falls

Last weekend I got together with friend and fellow photographer Bill Raco. Since Bill knows Clinton County better than I do, he showed me around the area some and took me to the Loganton falls. The day had been pretty nice thus far when the clouds broke open and rain came down in buckets. Fortunately it ended just in time for us to photograph the falls before it got too dark.

Casey

Some people say dogs don't smile. This sure looks like one very happy girl to me! A good romp around the neighborhood and some yummy treats...what more could a dog want??

M

Cape May is full of victorian bed and breakfasts. Someday I'll have to go back and stay in one of them.

I posted a photo of Lindy back in the winter. Here's another image of him taken earlier this spring.

Photography Name Project

The final project for the chester county camera club was to photograph objects that spell the letters of our name. Unfortunately I won't be able to make tonight's meeting to see the results of everyone else's work, but here's my version of my name. It was a fun project and I plan to continue working on it.

Inspired by Mary Brooks Brown and Pat Shorten I used the swipe technique to create this image.

Yellow

I'm not sure what plant this is, but it grows like crazy and blooms a sea of yellow every May.

I found this patch of lupines in a field where I was working recently.

Best Friends

I photographed a friend of mine and his dog recently. No matter where he went, his dog followed. I think this image really captures just how much she adores him!

Fern

I haven't spent a lot of time photographing flowers, but with spring in full swing and my garden blooming, it's been a good time to experiment. This is one of many ferns that are taking over one of my gardens.
