Audrey

Audrey is a 16 going on 17 year old mixed breed dog. She is having trouble walking and standing, losing her balance easily. However, she is just the sweetest girl. I snapped this image as we wandered the yard on one of our very short early morning "walks".

Last weekend I went to Cape May for a photography workshop led by Ed Heaton. Not only did I have fun, but I learned a lot. I have never taken a weekend workshop. Since I love Cape May, this was a great place for me to immerse myself in photography.

George revisited

Back in February I posted an image of George that was taken in the winter. Since I take my camera to work with me often, I get to take photos of the pets I care for in the different seasons. This image was captured last week while I was trying something new.

Dog Jog

This past weekend, Pets Come First sponsored the 2nd annual dog jog for dogs and their people in Centre Hall. There were 2 races, one for runners and one for walkers. I just showed up with my photography gear as I thought it would be a great place to continue my experiment with pet photography. I was met with overwhelming enthusiasm from the owners, afterall, what pet owner isn't proud of their pooch finishing a race?! This collage is just a small sampling of scenes from that day.

Almost everyone who photographs Eastern State Penitentiary has an image of this room with the barber chair. I wanted to do something a little different. Inspired by a conversation with photobud Bob Lott, I created this image using a mirror technique.

This past weekend I went to the eastern state penitentiary with the chester county camera club. It's a great place for hdr shots. I'm slowly working through all the images I took...my computer is starting to show it's age. Must mean it's almost time to think about an upgrade!
