I visited Washington DC last week hoping to get some great photos of the cherry blossoms. But the day I picked to go was an extremely windy one, thus most of my photos did not come out. But not to despair. It was a beautiful day and with so many great photo opportunities, I turned my focus to subjects that were not affected by gusty winds. This one is of the World War II memorial with the Washington memorial in the background.
